Slideshow Automation using Google App Script

Create a dynamic slideshow for lobby displays or virtual photo albums using Google App Script. Follow the steps below to get started.

Steps

• Create a folder in Google Drive.
• Create a slideshow background (1080x1920 with a 4”x5” photo area in the center) and upload it to the Drive folder.
• Upload photos to a separate folder in Drive.
• Create a blank Google Slides presentation in the Drive folder.
• In Google Slides, open the App Script editor and update PresentationID, PhotoID, and BackgroundIDs.
• Run the program using the UI dropdown.
